I am over the fucking moon that you’re here! If you are anything like me, you love wandering amongst the tall trees, breathing in fresh air and being with the ones you love, both humans and pups! 

I’m Montana, a Canadian girl with a love of all photography but specialising in family, weddings and nature! I grew up in the Canadian cottage country surrounded by lakes and tall trees, forever wandering barefoot and getting enthused by the way light played off the elements. 

I was lucky enough to pick up a camera when I was about 13 years old, taking pictures of just about everything in sight but mostly the rain, the light of sunrise and sunsets on open water and my family border collie, Laker. 

I put my camera down somewhere around university, obtained a degree in Psychology & Sociology and qualification in HR, and joined in the 9-5 hustle, but never lost the joy of freezing my favourite moments to look back on. 

Fast forward a few years and I moved to the United Kingdom and decided to pick photography back up and build a creative outlet through Lakes & Light Photography. So, here we are! I  capture natural, honest moments for you when you choose me as your photographer.
